The Hill House Cottage

NEW FOR 2005! The cottage can now sleep 4. Second bedroom/Bath, extra large "Up North" suite added - and - weekly stays get use of NEW full kitchen and laundry room. Relax in absolute comfort in our newly built lakeside English Country Cottage. Walk into the front courtyard from your private parking space. Open your stained-glass door and your first view is of English tapestry furniture surrounding a Rock Fireplace reaching up to 16 foot ceilings made of butternut wood. On either side of the fireplace step thru the sliding doors onto a 24' x 12' brick patio with its own gas grill. Sit at your patio set and look at Lake Minocqua and your beautifully landscaped grounds. Retire to the oversized bedroom through French doors and find the charm of an early English-country 4-Poster mahogany Bed with marble side tables and a early 19th century reproduction Armoire with another TV/VCR for further relaxing. Fall into bed with a dream mattress for the best sleep ever. A large walk in closet completes the room with a built in ironing board for those last minute touch ups before a scrumptious dinner for 2 in one of our 30+ local restaurants. Directly off the bedroom, a very large bath awaits you with a 2 person whirlpool tub and shower.. This spacious & lovely bath with top of the line fixtures has all your needs in mind. You will not find anything like this up north. It was designed to be a SPECIAL PLACE for those who can appreciate the thought put in to making your stay unforgettable. Our latest addition, the UP NORTH Suite, is great for those guests in parties larger than two. A second suite (located separately on the lower level of the Hill House Cottage but accessible only from inside the main floor of the cottage). This extra-large lodge style suite with beautiful log furnishings, cork floors and northwoodsy touches includes a queen bed, full private bath and a separate sitting area with TV/VCR and stereo along with your own coffee maker. Note: The UP NORTH Suite can only be rented in addition to the main level rental of Hill House Cottage and will incur additional daily fees.
